Computer-Aided Design and Applications (ISSN 1686-4360) is an independent, international peer-reviewed technical journal dedicated to the applications of computer-aided design and manufacturing.
The journal is the supporting archival medium of the annual CAD Conferences and Exhibitions. The conference series was launched in 1974 in Brighton, UK. Initially, it was held in the UK for many years but since 2004 is has become a trully international conference. The conference themes support various industries, both traditional (hard) as well as emerging (soft). Hard industries include general manufacturing, industrial engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, design automation, automobiles and airplanes, defense industry, various forms of construction, architecture and building design, consumer electronics, assembly modeling,
