On-line Access License Agreement

This agreement is made between CAD Solutions, LLC (“CADS”), the publisher of Computer-Aided Design and Applications (“CAD&A”), ISSN 1686-4360, and the Subscriber (“Licensee”) whose details are given in the form below. CADS grants an exclusive license to Licensee to access the electronic files of CAD&A located on the web site http://www.cadanda.com.

CADS provides the following types of access:
• Individual. One main IP address, one access code and single user. The IP address may change from time to time due to the use of different computers (home, office, lab, etc) by the same user.
• Institution. Multiple IP addresses, shared password and multiple users. All users must be bona fide members/employees of the institution.

After Licensee obtains a subscription to the journal (or renews the annual subscription), CADS provides an access to the journal in the following formats:
- a login and a (changeable) password; or
- an IP-authenticated access where each protected page encodes the IP address or the IP range of the Licensee.
Licensee has an unlimited access to the electronic files for professional purposes, as stated below:
• The license is annual and is valid for 365 days from the day of purchase.
• IP addresses of users are logged and monitored to avoid unauthorized access.
• The license provides unlimited access to the electronic files that can be used for viewing as well as for downloading from the above web site.
• The electronic files can be used to produce print copies to be used for professional purposes only, e.g. research, development or education.
• The material contained in the electronic files is subject to the copyright notice posted in CAD&A, and reproduced below.

“Single papers published in this volume may be copied for personal or classroom use without permission provided that copies are not made for distribution or for profit. Copying must be made so as to respect national copyright laws as well as copyrights held by individual contributors.  To copy in any other way, to republish parts or the complete volume, to post on web sites or to redistribute, requires permission and/or a fee.

Abstracting with proper credit is permitted. The journal header, the table of contents, and abstracts of sample papers, not exceeding 10% of the total published articles, may be freely copied and distributed if credit is given to the Publisher.”

The use of electronic files is restricted as follows:
• Individual users: the files may be used by the individual Licensee only for professional purposes, not for resale or distribution.
• Institutional users: the files may be used by the employees of the institution. They may also be distributed from user to user within the institution.

The licenses are perpetual, that is, in case the subscription is cancelled, Licensee continues to have access to all volumes prior to the cancellation. If the access was IP-authenticated, the IP addresses or the IP range remain encoded in the files of all subscribed volumes. In case the access was login based, a CD will be made available with all the PDF files of all subscribed volumes.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida of the United States of America.
